It still manages to retain a professional touch. The warm hospitality of the owners, Frank and Trish. I particularly appreciated the homemade treats available during breakfast, showcasing their personal touch. Parking was rather limited was good.

Ideal, marvellous location close to the heart of the city. And just next door to restaurants, pubs, shops and quay as well as the famous Gloucester Docks, restaurants, bars, shops and city centre.

We appreciated this hotel, it was clean with a marvellous and fairly friendly staff.

Well, there was no parking.

The twin room was comfy, but the decor felt a bit tacky.

A good stay by the docks

Stayed for five nights and loved the spotlessly clean room and the warm, cute hosts. Breakfasts were especially delicious, with fresh fruits and a perfect full cooked option!

The limited storage space in the twin room could be challenging for longer stays. Our hosts were attentive and promised improvements.

Try asking for a personalized parking permit. It can save you from looking for street parking.

The breakfast was excellent value-plenty of options to fuel up before a busy day. The proximity to the docks and shops made it convenient for exploring the local scene.

Low water pressure in the showers dampened the bathing experience, and noise from the street could be a concern for light sleepers. Shared bathroom arrangements in certain rooms may not suit everyone, particularly if you prefer more privacy.

but my only issue was the bar area felt cluttered. however, the fresh milk in the fridge was a lovely touch. comfy beds guaranteed a great night’s sleep. and the breakfast was simply outstanding!

Location is spot on really close to the station and city center. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful (couldn't resist those fresh fruits).

The room was comfy, had a microwave I wasn't expecting, and a fridge stocked with fresh milk and bottled water, a nice touch. The thick curtains blocked out the light well, and I appreciated the quietness of the space. The decor felt a bit dated and mismatched, but it didn't really bother me since it added character. It had all I needed for a pleasant stay.

It was just a suitable option for a stopover in Gloucester with excellent value for money. The warm hospitality made my brief stay enjoyable, and I appreciated the clean room prepared with care. Avoid peak hours for breakfast if you prefer a quieter experience.
